First Skills Camp hosted by LSA with the support of LHS
On Sunday, October 15 we concluded our first ever LSA Skills Camp and covered Attacking Principles of Play during this final session. The camp was a success and 26 campers left better than when they started. That was our mantra for the camp – “Leave better than when you started.”
Through the course of the camp the campers learned proper techniques and improved their fundamental soccer skills of dribbling, shooting, and passing. In addition, defensive and attacking principles of play were covered to improve camper’s understanding of the game and team play.
We also want to thank our own Eagles and Lady Eagles High School soccer players for their help during the camp setting up stations, interacting with the campers and providing feedback to them to help them improve. All in all, a success and we look forward to hosting a camp during the Spring 2024 season.
